Our Undergraduate Advising team provides personal advising for all students in the major, minor, and certificate programs. You are welcome to contact our advisors (writingandrhetoric@) to make an advising appointment.
Writing & Rhetoric Advising Team
You can make an appointment for an advising session by emailing writingandrhetoric@. Program advisors Professor Adele Richardson (adele@ ) and Dr. Marcy Galbreath (marcy.galbreath@ ) as well as program director Dr. Laurie A. Pinkert (laurie.pinkert@ ) coordinate advising with the help of programs assistant Jennifer Cunningham (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our office will stay in contact with you throughout your time in the program through a number of ways; we will host workshops and social events, send you materials (e.g., flyers describing courses) via the B.A. email list, and periodically review your progress with you in advising sessions. We hold regular open advising hours each term.
Our faculty are another good source of advising information, particularly about what courses are like, which courses to take, opportunities for getting more involved, and possible internship, job, or grad school opportunities.
