Zemliansky Wins Award for Collection of Essays

photoPavel Zemliansky, a professor in the UCF College of Arts and Humanities Department of Writing and Rhetoric, has been honored with a 2017 Conference on College Composition and Communication Technical and Scientific Communication Award for his collection of essays, Rethinking Post-Communist Rhetoric: Perspectives on Rhetoric, Writing, and Professional Communication in Post-Soviet Spaces. The piece, which was co-authored by Kirk St. Amant of East Carolina University, was the winning submission in the Best Original Collection of Essays in Technical or Scientific Communication category.

The Conference on College Composition and Communication is a part of the National Council of Teachers of English. The organization supports instructors and students in rhetoric, composition, and communication courses in both undergraduate and graduate college programs.

Zemliansky will be officially recognized as the award recipient at the CCCC Annual Convention in Portland, Oregon on March 17.
